Our tables will be full of temptations for the Big Game. Here are a few strategies to help you survive the madness:

  1. don't show up starving: make sure to have a healthy snack before you go. Will power will be low if you haven't eaten for hours

  2. half your plate filled with veggies: raw veggies with dip is a healthy option. Get these on your plate first

  3. guac is your friend: although high in calories, avocadoes are full of healthy fats that fight inflammation and keep you full for longer. If you're not hungy, you're less likely to go back for seconds on the diet busters.

  4. look for lean protein to compliment your veggies, and chips and guac.

  5. easy on the sweets: pick whatever sweet treat looks like it'll bring you the most enjoyment and have one serving only.

Enjoy some time with friends and family and may your team win!
