What is the best kind of cardio?

If you’re looking to start a new exercise habit, the kind you will do is the best kind to do. Doesn’t matter if that’s a dance class, running around a track, or boxing…if you won’t actually do it when it’s time to work out, it’s not gonna work.
If you’re a seasoned exercise junkie like myself, certain types of cardio have certain benefits that distinguish them:
Convenience: if you live in a moderate-weather state like I do, going for a run is the most convenient. In the span of 30 mins, I can warm-up, get a great workout, work on recovery, and be done.
Intensity: I like playing basketball for intense cardio. You don’t think about how hard it is when you’re trying to chase a ball down the court.
Social interaction: I’m not a group-exercise class kind of guy, so I like to go cycling with friends when I want to combine exercise with spending time with friends.
Low impact: swimming.
Total body inclusivity: try using a versaclimber. It’s great–in a terrible way!
